With the 2022 World Cup happening in November, it was going to feel different to what we’ve seen in previous years. Footie fans are more likely to watch from the sofa, staying home to stay warm and save cash on the run up to Christmas.
This poses a fantastic opportunity for food delivery services. We identified Deliveroo as a perfect ‘player’ for brand activation to showcase their wide range of cuisines from all around the world.
Our idea is that users would open the Deliveroo app or website and see a pop up showing the ‘World Plate Sweepstake’, then take the wheel for a spin for food inspiration from all over the world. If they order the cuisine it lands on they receive a special discount, encouraging customers to try something new.
