When our client, plastic roads company MacRebur, opened its new headquarters in Scotland, we were tasked with gaining press coverage and asked one simple question: ‘Is this the most important new factory in the world?’
Before we’d even sent the first release, we’d worked hard to build anticipation towards the factory opening by arranging an exclusive preview visit for The i newspaper. We also made strategic use of press releases and coverage to help boost organic traffic to MacRebur’s website.
We gained over 150 pieces of coverage and reached a print audience of 1.2m and a digital audience of 123.5m during our first release across national and regional print titles, plus broadcast coverage on the BBC and ITV. We're now supporting MacRebur with the opening of its first US factory and its expansion to countries including South Africa, Spain, Azerbaijan and Bahrain.
