For its 2026 UK marketing campaign, manufacturing giant Trex wanted to put the spotlight on the qualities that make its category-leading decking boards the perfect choice for British homeowners.
Response.
Featuring nine witty vignettes, our TV commercial positions Trex as the answer for homeowners who want to spend their leisure time indulging their passions, rather than maintaining their deck.
Each vignette highlights an aspect of Trex decking – from its flawless finish to its weather-resistant properties – that makes it the perfect setting for life’s most satisfying moments.
We combined our creative concept with clever scripting and inspired casting to produce a light-hearted, quintessentially British story that chimes with Trex’s target market.
Bird’s eye view filming and clean, minimal set styling ensures the product remains the star of the show throughout the commercial.
Results.
Following an intensive month of pre-production, the four-day shoot delivered not just the 30-second commercial but also social media assets, BTS footage and still photography for Trex’s year-long UK campaign.
While our storytelling skills were at the heart of the project’s success, our focus on efficiency was almost as important, with careful planning, clear timelines and collaborative client approval processes enabling us to make the most of every minute – and pound – spent.
