Senior PR & Comms Manager
Continued client growth means we have an exciting new opportunity and we’re now looking for an energetic and creative PR professional with a track record of creating and delivering successful media campaigns.
The role
You will be responsible for internal and external communications for our clients and also provide support to business development activity by contributing ideas and proposals for current and potential clients.
Responsibilities
Develop integrated PR and content strategies and plans for clients
Draft and issue press releases
Draft content including:
blog and social media content
advertising and marketing content
intranet and other internal communications content
Manage media relations activity on behalf of clients, including handling journalist enquiries, selling in stories, arranging and briefing clients on media interviews and providing media training
Provide support for clients’ internal and external events
Client liaison as necessary
Develop / contribute to creative communications ideas and proposals
Increase commercial awareness and benefit to the business through team development and productivity
Prioritise and allocate work across the PR and communications team
Oversee the work of / manage the performance of team members
Support team members to develop their skills in line with their objectives and personal development plans
Copywriting (print and online)
Skills and competencies
5+ years of PR & Comms experience at a senior level
Consumer PR experience
Proactive, creative and enthusiastic
Collaborative team player
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Organised, reliable
Ability to work to tight deadlines
